Our Story

Hello, I’m Katrina, the founder of Burnham Market HearingCare.

 

I first entered the world of Audiology at the beginning of 2016 as an assistant/advisor. After sitting in clinic to observe the client journey with the audiologist I knew that I had found my passion. Within just a few months I had enrolled at Aston University and was on route to gaining my degree and starting my career as an Audiologist. I condensed my course into 1 year and continued working alongside the audiologists as a student at the same time. The following year I graduated and officially became a hearing aid audiologist.

 

I have spent the last 10 years working for a high street chain, building wonderful relationships with my clients. However, after some reflection and long conversations with my husband, I decided the target driven corporate style of working didn’t align with my values and the only way to truly offer the care I wanted for my clients was to set up my own independent private hearing care clinic.  We have set out to create a space where people could feel comfortable, relaxed, and welcomed.  

 

I’m passionate about providing genuinely personal hearing care and I believe that looking after your hearing should never feel rushed or  clinical.  I take the time to listen to you, understand how you live, what matters to you and make sure that any advice or treatment is tailored to your individual needs.  Whether you’re noticing a change in your hearing, considering hearing aids for the first time, or simply looking for professional ear care, I’m here to make the process straightforward and comfortable.

What I value most in my role is building long relationships with my clients and their families.  You will have the continuity of care that allows you to come back to see me year after year, to make sure that we keep your hearing in the best place possible and that is founded on a basis of trust.
